Now that we are in Papua, we aren't sure how fast they get to us. They make a couple months, we'll see!
If you are considering sending something bigger than a letter there are a few things we want you to know. By far the best way to send packages has seemed to be via the US Postal Service using a "Flat Rate" box or envelope. These boxes or envelopes ship for the same price regardless of the weight you put in them. They end up being the cheapest and most sure way to send things here. Be advised, you will have to write a detailed list of what is going in the box along with the approximate values of the items at the post office. These things can not be shipped to MAF in America, they will not forward parcels overseas for us, but can be shipped to our MAF base in Sentani, Papua at this address:

A couple of random notes.....
*Letters mailed to MAF allow several weeks delivery to us.
*Now that we are in Papua, we don't know yet how long packages to take to get to us. Our guess right now is it will take about a month, we will see!
*If you are thinking of sending lots of things or something valuable, contact us first to help navigate the customs regulations.
