MAF recently had this video produced. We were there in Papua when they were filming and got to know the film crew a little bit. Not only is it a really good video but I like to watch it to see many of the faces of our friends that we enjoyed serving with for 2 years in Papua.
I love this video...it was made by my neighbor's son. My neighbor Tim happens to be one of my instructor pilots, teaching me how to fly and serve with MAF here in Papua. The video is a great picture of the people we are serving, how we are serving them, the places we are going, and the planes we're flying right here in Papua!
This next video embodies the main reasons why we are excited to be serving with MAF. These people are so excited to be receiving God's word in their own language. That's something I take for granted! MAF only appears for a small part of the video, and it is fitting as MAF plays a small role in this ministry along with the other ministries we team up with to help bring God's word and practical love to people who live in isolated places.
What does an average day look like for an MAF pilot?
This next one is a well done and entertaining documentary about what MAF does in Kalimantan, Indonesia (The place in Indonesia we will be moving). It's about 30 minutes long.
